A suicide bombing ripped through a packed resturant in the town of Jalalaqsi in the Hiiraan region of Somalia, leaving scores dead and wounded.
Daljir Media has been able to confirm that Nuur Dheere, the Mayor of Jalalaqsi along with his body guards, would frequent that restaurant often and could be attributed to why the establishment was targeted.
A suspected militant wearing a suicide vest entered the restaurant just movements after the Mayor departed the restaurant and detonated an explosives vest.
The subsequent blast killed five people and wounded three others. Daljir Media has been able to confirm the names of two out of three victims, which is listed below.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. However, the armed group Al-Shabaab rountinly carries out similiar attacks of this nature across Somalia.
