Dear Your Excellencies
I am writing to express grave concerns regarding the state of governance within the Federal Republic of Somalia. It is evident that the government has veered drastically off course, embracing corruption, nepotism, and a flagrant disregard for accountability, the rule of law, and the rights of its citizens.
The federal republic of Somalia government’s actions regarding the manipulation of both chambers of parliament represent a severe breach of democratic principles and governance standards. By resorting to bribery and offering government positions, the government has compromised the integrity of the legislative process and undermined the foundation of democracy in Somalia.
