Chairman of Puntland Electoral Commission, Abdirizak Ahmed, addresses people of Puntland and congratulates them that tomorrow, the 25th of May 2023, for the first time since 1967, the people of Puntland will be able to vote for their local representatives. The Chairman expressed his sorrows for the election delay, as a measure of caution, in three Nugaal districts, including the Capital Garoowe.
Calling the lection a historical day for Puntland, he said that all 395 polling stations in 30 Puntland districts will open at 6:00 AM tomorrow morning.
