Somali national shot dead in Toronto

A Somali national was shot dead overnight in Toronto, Canada, which comes as the city continues to cope with gun violence.

Ahmed Shire Hirsi reportedly sustained multiple gunshot wounds, eventually succumbing to his death.

The motives for the shooting remains unknown. The deceased victim left behind a wife and children Daljir Media has learnt.

The city of Toronto has been plagued by rampant shootings in recent days often linked to youth gangs and drugs. This past weekend two young men were shot in the city under similar circumstances.
