Ethiopia’s ambassador to Somalia Mukhtar Mohamed Ware arrived in the city of Garowe, the capital of Somalia’s Puntland state to meet with Said Deni, the President of the Puntland State.

According to a statement released by the Puntland State House, the arrival of the Ethiopian ambassador took place at the Puntland Presidential Palace.

However, the agenda of the meeting and the reason for the meeting still remains unknown. The arrival of the Ethiopian ambassador to Garoowe just comes five days after the UK ambassador made a visit to Puntland, as reported by Daljir Media.

Puntland State of Somalia remains a major political stakeholder in Somalia and can be attributed to why such a large number of international diplomats flock to the regional capital of Garoowe.
